In the Navy, In the Navy...

April 1, 2012

Glorious Sundays!!! Jason and I finally got to relax a little today. We slept in and spent tons of quality time together. It was lovely! I was able to finish my mom's quilt before having lunch with Anna and Travis. Jason and I met them for pizza at pizza hut... yum!!! After pizza we went back to the house and began painting that red room again. We then met my side of the family for my mom's Cracker Barrel birthday! Yum again! Jason and had a really fun time with family and were able to relax. Again, so thankful my husband loves my side of the family and that they love him too. . . how could you not! Jason fits in so well and is fun to be around. I love how sneakily he slides in a joke when you least expect it. My family laughs at the fact that he says so little when visiting them (or visiting anyone cause he's so quiet) and then all of a sudden... Jason cracks them up with a joke. I love that I married a charming man :^) P.S. mom loved her gift. Also, it meant the world to me that Jason said I was really good at making quilts :^) I'm so thankful I have a husband that goes out of his way to tell me how much he loves me.

April 2, 2012

At mom's birthday party, they gave Jason about five computers from Bucko's office. Jason agreed to clean out the computers and my parents offered us one as payment for his work. Again... so glad my husband takes time out of his life to help my family. I love that! Also... so thankful my family doesn't try to get him to work without paying him or doing something for him (he usually never accepts, which is always something I find unbelievably sweet about him). After Jason worked on the computers some, we headed over to paint the house... again! Then, off to Home Depot (our second home away from home). Today was the day we finally finished the red room!! We were going to paint more, but we got sick of painting. We'll stick with one red room. Jason was amazing and cleaned up the new house while I finished painting... meant so much to me because I really didn't want to do that! We then had a scrumptious chicken dinner and then read the hunger games... yes!

Fun memory for Jason:

After working super long days at the house, I begin to get a little goofy when exhausted. For some random, unexplained reason I began to sing the following...

"In the navy, in the navy, that's where you go to go.... in the Navy."

I have blue and white striped shorts I wear to bed sometimes and I always feel like a sailor in them... maybe that's where the song came from? I don't know. Anyway... it made Jason laugh a lot! It was a perfect way to end the day... we were too happy to sleep and we just stayed up laughing and holding each other. I couldn't of had a better evening :^)

April 3, 2012
Today was an ordinary day. I got to work and soon after received my very kind "morning sweet love" text from Jason. Poor Jason couldn't sleep last night. He always has trouble falling asleep. We both were pretty exhausted . . . we've worked day after day after day on the house. Jason and I both decided while at work that we would take today off from housework. . . . therefore, I have no good explanation why we ended up at the house. Oh well... we both are ready to move in anyway. It'll be nice to get it all done!

April 4, 2012
Today I woke up late... I mean late! I woke up 20 minutes late... 10 minutes left before I had to leave the house. I accidentally woke up Jason, too. I don't know how he woke up! Other than swearing loudly and running into the wall cause I was in a hurry and couldn't see... I was as quiet as a mouse! I quickly took a 5 minute shower, got dressed, and then was about to run out the door when I heard Jason's voice "Love, I made you a peanut butter sandwich... it's in the kitchen." How amazing is he!! I didn't expect him to get out of bed so early just to make his disheveled wife breakfast! I'm so lucky! When I got to work I thanked him for doing it, his response was: "You really are a great wife." I don't know what I'd do without him!

April 5, 2012
To be very honest... I am writing this later than I should... I can't for the life of me remember anything that we did today! The only thing I have written down from today was my "good morning" email I send Jason every morning. Today I woke up and wrote Jason this email:

Morning love!

thanks so much for all you do :^) I hope you slept well. The week is almost over!!!! :^) Have a good day love. Many many many kisses :^)

-love

Even when I can't remember what we did... I know I at least had someone wonderful to share it with. I couldn't be happier with my husband. With or without notes or memories of what he's done for me... I know he's the most incredible man I've ever known. I can see it in the way he treats our pets, friends, coworkers, and even strangers. He's not perfect (none of us are) but I wouldn't change him in any way. Not only am I lucky enough to at least have someone to spend ordinary, forgettable days with... I've been given the kindest, loving, and most entertaining man that has ever lived :^)  To many more forgettable days with the man of my dreams... for always.

April 6, 2012

Today I got off work early! Good Friday. I got a text right at 11 (when I got off work) from Jason that read "Happy off work time!!!!" I got so excited because I thought he was going to leave work early, too! Turns out he was just excited for me :^) Although I would have loved to of seen him early, it meant a lot to me that he was that excited for me. Well, once out of work, I promptly went home and slept! Been an exhausting week! Once Jason woke me up, we began working on the house again... it's really really tiring working on the same thing over and over again. Oh well! We are lucky enough to have a house :^)

April 7, 2012

Today we actually were able to move our stuff in! It felt really strange picking up our things and just walking to the house next door to us! I loved it! I would go into detail about the day more, however, describing how each box we took over was heavy or filled with this and that sounds really boring to me. Therefore, I'll just say we were super busy. I will say this, though. Jason and I took a break at one point and went for a Target run. Jason says it's not really a Target run once you've graduated college. I disagree. Although... normally you don't do a Target run to go buy a computer desk... in college it was for soap or a notebook. Anyway... we did buy a really awesome desk for the new computer to go on! When I was younger I never put anything together... I mean anything. I don't think I ever really even picked up a screwdriver. Jason on the other hand... he took apart a computer at 13 and then figured out how to put it back together again. Anyway... Jason's taught me a lot about how to build things and even just assemble simple pre-built bookshelves. We had a lot of fun working on the desk. Took longer than we thought, but that could be because we ended up making out instead of building it for a while.... oh well, worth it.

Brown Manor

March 25, 2012

Today was Hunger Games day! Jason and I began reading Hunger Games on his kindle today. One thing that I never ever want to stop doing is read books with Jason. I love getting to pick out a story and dive into it with him. It's like a much better version of watching a movie with friends. Movies don't last as long, they have fewer surprises, and they aren't as detailed as a book. I love getting to a shocking part of the book to look up at Jason and see his mouth has dropped in excitement with me!! It's so much fun to have someone to share the experience with. I'm so lucky to have him... he's such an amazing friend and love!

Marcy 26, 2012
Today Jason and I are super excited! It's the day before we buy our house!!! We've been really worried though... we got a message from Brad, our loan officer, and he said we might need to push back our closing date. Said something about how they couldn't get in touch with the Appraisal guy... we were excited but worried. We both asked off work for tomorrow. Jason called the Appraisal guy Sunday and again on Monday to ask him what was going on... thank goodness he did!!! Because Jason did that, Brad said it looked like we could close on time... they pushed our time back from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. With that somewhat resolved, Jason and I resumed our work day. After work Jason and I decided we needed to relax so we read more of the Hunger Games... so exciting!!! It's such a good book. Today I am thankful that Jason doesn't just sit by and let life happen... he does what he can to make sure things go smoothly, like with the house. I also am thankful, however, that Jason knows how to relax . . . how to sit and read a book.

March 27, 2012

We bought a house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jason and I slept in this morning because we could :^) After a while we got dressed and went to eat at KFC. While at lunch we got a call from Brad. He told us we were good to go and he informed us how much our cashier's check should be for closing. We then headed to Bank of America and got the check. Then... off to Home Depot :^) We got our first few things for the house... a light socket, for example. We then headed off to the closing!! It all went so smoothly! Our loan officer and Terri Turner were there and they walked us through it so easily. We've heard nightmares from so many people about how much paper to sign and how completely confusing everything is... I guess we picked really wonderful people to set it all up for us. After signing papers, our Terri handed me a card and said "This is for you guys." I thanked her and then we all said goodbye. We then held the keys to our own home! Terri hugged us and congratulated us! What wonderful people! One we got back in the car I opened the card... she placed a $50 gift card in there for us... for Home Depot!!! She knows us so well :^) Jason and I immediately went to our new home!! We then went out to celebrate at Texas Road House! Mhmm! After such a busy, wonderful, and stills stressful day... we decided to read more Hunger Games. Such a wonderful day!!

March 28-31, 2012

I'm unfortunately am behind in writing . . . I made notes each day, but I've gotten backed up because recent house-buying adventures. Therefore, I will be writing one entry for the past few days... mainly because we pretty much did the same things each day. Basically Jason and I worked, came home, went to Home Depot (daily....), got paint supplies, painted the dining room red, and began putting in new light fixtures. Oh... also, we read the Hunger Games at the end of each day. Basically we've been unbelievably busy! Only things that were different was on the 30th we opened up an account with Suntrust ... awesome! Now that I've summarized what we did, I'd like to note the amazing things I noticed during these days about Jason :^)

March 28th I got a text from Jason that read: "Love, you are so wonderful. I can't wait to kiss your lips again and hold you." I love him!! So sweet!

The night of the 28th Jason made what I like to call... a Ghetto Air Spaceship. Not quite sure why I called it this, but I did. Jason and I decided we needed to make an air purifier with our fan. Jason got a ton of aluminum foil and put it around the fan and then began poking holes in it (still not sure how that works....). I looked at the thing and started laughing because it looked so weird!! Next thing I knew it was a Ghetto Air Spaceship :^) Jason and I laughed a looooong time :^) I love how much fun Jason is. He's so amazing at making these weird (albeit awesome) projects and homemade gadgets. I mean... how many people can make their own air purifier, tazer glove, or water filter.... amazing! I married a super awesome, creative, and ingenious man :^)

Another thing that I love about Jason... he reads. I know that's a weird one, but I love that about him. Not only does he read but he reads things no one else I know would read. I hate admitting this and I would never admit it to his face.... I even kind of, sort of . . . like the fact that he read the stupid Pride and Prejudice and Zombies book. I can't believe I'm putting that in writing. I still hate that book... no one get me wrong about that. But I love that he is willing to try new things and read whatever . . . I would never do that. I probably miss out on a lot of good books, too, because I don't read anything (Not saying I missed anything with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies... I'm still write about that one). Also... I love that Jason reads with me. So many people seem so amazed when we tell them we read books together... I'm so thankful for that! It's so much more fun and entertaining when you can enjoy a good book with someone you love.

Another thing about Jason I love: he encourages me to have hobbies. On the 30th, Jason did his own projects while I worked on my mom's birthday present (her quilt). I am so thankful Jason wants me to be happy and do things that make me happy. So many people aren't okay with their spouse working on projects without them... I'm so thankful he gives me space. I hope I'm as good as he is with that... I love that he has his projects and likes to spend time investing in ghetto air spaceships ;^)

Sexy Mudbloods

March 18, 2012

Sunday! Jason and I slept in some while Jeff headed off to see a friend for breakfast. Jason and I relaxed and enjoyed our day off together. Around the time we got up Jeff returned. We played a little Mario Kart and then headed off to Taco Mac (our usual "Jeff is back" location). We met Anna and Travis for lunch and talked with them for a while. After lunch we headed back to our place for some more Mario Kart. I cleaned up a bit while they started brewing their first all-grain beer. It took them quite a while to brew everything. By the time it was done it was... Walking Dead time! We got in the car and headed over to my parent's place. I bet my mom would immediately offer them something to eat while my dad offered some form of alcohol, bread, and cheese. When we got there mom walked in with 60 wings!! She never ever underestimates how much food we'll need :^) Shortly after we were offered a drink, then bread, then cheese. Then my mom walked out with a HUGE fruit  and veggie platter. Best chocolate covered strawberries I've ever eaten! I noticed some boots in the living room I hadn't noticed before... they were the boots Jamie wore on the Walking Dead! How cool is that! So glad he got to keep those. Also mom got super excited and then showed Jeff the bullets Jamie got from the show... same bullets he used when shooting Zombies! Again... pretty awesome! We had a really great evening... we all just laughed, talked, ate super good food, and joked around a bit. Dad was in a really good mood and mom was too. It was awesome :^) Soon we skyped Jamie and got to talk to him. We then pointed him toward the tv and watched the finale of Walking Dead. It was amazing! In the first part of the showJamie or "Jimmy" was eaten by tons of Zombies... it was so weird! We all immediately yelled "Noooo!!!!!!!!!! Oh!!!!!!!!!!!! Ew!!!!!!" It was a lot of fun :^) So proud of Jamie. After Walking Dead we watched a little "Talking Dead" and then I had to leave... I had to work the next day. Once we got home I was too excited to sleep :^) We fixed Jeff's couchbed up and then went to bed ourselves. Both Jason and I had a hard time falling asleep. We ended up just staying up an extra hour talking and laughing about how awesome the night had been. Jason's so wonderful :^) I'm so thankful I have someone to share all these wonderful things with.

March 19, 2012

Monday... we return to work. After work Jason and I decided we needed a nap. We both went to bed waaay too late and needed some rest. Right after Jason got off work we fell asleep for about an hour. Jason then took a shower and I went back to sleep. Jason woke me up and then sat down next to me. He is so sweet. He told me I have the most beautiful eyes he's ever seen and that he loved me. He then offered to give me a back massage before we headed off to Ashley Park for our evening walk. He's so amazing! He tells me all the time that I'm beautiful and that he loves me! I really am so lucky to have him.

After getting the chance to go for our walk and work out some frustration from our jobs, we then decided to go eat out at Wendys. We had a really nice little dinner out at Wendy's and enjoyed each other's company. We then promptly returned home, watched some tv, and then went to bed. A simply day with my favorite person ever.

March 20, 2012

Tuesday.... We, again, got up and went to work. I got to work with a text that said, "Morning love, You are so wonderful." Can't start the day off better than that! After work we decided to go for another walk at Ashley Park. So nice! It was sunny and windy and just the right amount of wonderfulness for a walk. We went around three times and filled each other in about our day. After that we headed over to Target for an air purifier . . . hopefully this will help Jason's allergies. Later we went to Chicken Fil A for dinner. So glad we did... on Tuesdays if you order a sandwich you get one free! Yum! After doing all that we went home. Jason was amazing and let me relax on the couch and watch the Office while he did the dishes. Jason is too good to be true sometimes!

March 21-22, 2012

So... today is not March 21st or 2nd... I'm a little behind. It's been a crazy month and both Jason and I have been super busy with the house stuff, so I'm writing this way later than I should be. I've kept notes though as reminders of what we did or what Jason has done that meat a lot to me. During these two days Jason and I mainly worked and were getting ready for our house stuff to get completed. We've already been at Home Depot more than any other store ever and we haven't even bought the house yet... we're both so excited! Jason, as always, began my day with his really wonderful text messages . . . "Good morning love" or "How are you love." He's so thoughtful and caring. On Wednesday I got a call from a family member of one of my patients... apparently he was abusing benzos and got into a massive car wreck. I later learned he was life-flighted to the nearest hospital and that he probably wasn't going to make it. I didn't think it was going to bother me, but it kind of did. I texted Jason when I found out. It was really sad because he was a stable patient who had been there for a long time and was clean until recently... in just a month or two he's backtracked so much that it might have cost him his life. Jason was unbelievably kind and let me talk to him about it. He sent me a text telling me he was sorry and that he loved me. So many people try to fix it if you are upset that they don't listen... Jason doesn't do that. I am so lucky that I have a husband who listens to me and just holds me. He let's me be upset and tell's me it's okay that I am. I really will never be able to explain how much that means to me... that he'll stay with me even when I'm not the happiest person in the world; that he'd rather hold me when I'm upset then leave and do something that might be more fun. I truly have the best husband in the world!

On Thursday Jason and I got off work and went shopping for one of Jason's coworkers. Glenn's wife has cancer and it's not getting better. In fact, Glenn is working from home for the next two weeks to spend as much time as he can with his wife. Jason's work is amazing and they have offered to bring him food daily for dinner so he doesn't have to cook. Jason signed up to provide dinner for him tomorrow. We're making roast. My parent's offered to let us cook it at their house on Friday (since it takes so long to cook... we could cook it while I go to work). We're making them roast, potatoes, carrots, dad's homemade bread, and mini apple pies). We dropped off the stuff for the roast at their house Thursday night and we ate dinner with them. They took us to Johnny's pizza. We also got them to watch the Office a little!

Over the past few days we've done a lot, but these entries aren't really about what we've done as much as it is what I love about Jason. The past couple of days Jason has been unbelievably kind and caring toward me. He's been there for me when upset, spent time with my family, and has worked unbelievably hard to provide for us. I'm so amazed each week by how much he does... he truly is an amazing man and he deserves more than I could ever give him.

March 23, 2012

Today Jason and I got off work and met at my parent's place to finish packaging up the roast. After watching an Office while the apple pies finish cooking, we got everything in the car and then drove to Glenn's. Glenn lives over an hour away so it was a long drive. Jason and I talked the whole way there and back. On the way back I thought I saw a sign that read "Sexy mudbloods." I guess I was in the mood to read Harry Potter or something. Well, this was fun because we immediately began coming up with fun porn movie titles with a Harry Potter theme... Moaning Myrtle; Whomping Willow; Dumbledoor's Wand. We spent the majority of our drive naming as many as we could... we have so much fun together!

Jason's a rare man. A rare person in general. Jason's the kind of guy who is quite, introverted to the max, intellectual, extremely interested in gadgets and how things work. Jason stays to himself a lot, and yet... he cares so much for people. He may disagree with that... he might say he feels obligated to, but I really think he does care. The mere fact that Jason feels that need, that obligation to help others shows how unbelievably kind he is. So many people don't even feel that obligation or a better word may be "desire"... that desire to help someone. I have, however, heard Jason use the word "obligation." He does it out of obligation. He might think that's a bad thing, but I find it wonderful that I'm in love with a man who feels "obligated" to be there for others. Maybe I misunderstood him, maybe I didn't, but one thing is for sure... Jason drove all the way out to Glenn's house to give them a home cooked meal. Jason offer's to help fix so many people's computers and gadgets so they don't have to pay someone else to do it. He cleans up the house for me when I'm too tired. He rubs my back when it's sore. He even cuddles with our cats. He let's his friend stay at our house when going through a horrendous divorce. The man's got more love in him than almost anyone I've ever met... he loves deeply while still having healthy boundaries. I am so thankful for how very good he is at showing love. I never wonder if Jason loves me... you don't question a man's love when he texts you every morning to let you know he's thinking of you. A man who wakes himself up in the morning to kiss you goodbye. Or when he sits beside you, hugging you while you cry yourself into goo. I'm so very lucky and there will never be words to express how very much in love I am with Jason.

March 24, 2012

Jason and I woke up late, slept in, and lounged around the house. It was lovely! After we did nothing for hours and hours we finally got ready and headed to Newnan to meet Nikki for dinner at Panera. It was so much fun! We got to catch up with her and enjoy each other's company. After we ate and talked for a while we got bagels for breakfast and then headed to Home Depot... shocker. We roamed around and begin picturing our new house and all that we wanted to do with it. I can't wait to own a home with Jason... to be able to turn it into something we made and did together. Sometimes I really can't believe we're together and doing all these things... we're both in stead, well-paying jobs and are able to afford our own home! We're so lucky. A great part of the credit should go to Jason and how hard he works. Jason's really good with money and managing how much we spend. I'm so lucky I have a responsible husband! I know there are so many times Jason wants to do something, go somewhere, buy something, etc... and yet he chooses to wait so that we can be financially stable. I love that about him!

St Paddy's Day

March 11, 2012

Sunday is Walking Dead Day! After enjoying our relaxing morning/afternoon, we head over to my parent's place for some desert, wings, and zombies. We stopped at people's choice for your wings and then went to Publix for an amazing ice cream cake! This was no ordinary ice cream cake... it had actual, real cake with the ice cream on it! You and I promptly got our food and then devoured it and the dessert at my parent's place. Yes, we did actually eat almost the entire ice cream cake ourselves... it was too good! After eating, we then skyped Jamie so we could all say hi. You, being the amazing person that you are, hooked up mom's ipad to the tv so we could see him on big screen. Thanks to you we also got to set it up for Jamie to watch Walking Dead through skype, too! The funniest part of the evening was when we hear a small voice in the middle of the tv show... "I'm falling! I'm falling!" We all look over as Jamie's face slowly but surely is slowly falling down on the stand. Too funny! Anyways... all that recapping to say this: It means so much to me that you don't mind fixing computer related things for my family. They all think the world of you and are so thankful you are there... even if you didn't fix all their electronics :^) I've told you numerous times to remember that you are in no way obligated to fix anything while there, and they have said that also... but you still help. I love that you care for them like I do. Thanks for treating my side of the family like yours, too. I couldn't love your side of the family any less either... we have an amazing set of parent's an in-laws, sisters and brothers. I'm very thankful for all we have, love

March 12, 2012 - March 15, 2012

I've decided to combine a few days in one entry due to the fact that I can't remember anything from earlier last week... please forgive me. I do know many things though based off the texts you sent me that I saved. Firstly, you only went into the office two days this week because you worked from home Monday and asked off Thursday and Friday. While at work, you received your annual review... which went so well! You were told they were impressed with how much you've learned and how quickly you learned it. You were also given 500 bucks as a bonus! I'm so proud :^) Also, on Thursday you came to my work and had lunch with me! We went to Panera and then you stayed at my work for a while fixing computer issues. It was really wonderful to work with you there! All day I couldn't wait to see you... made my day so much better!

Also, another huge part of my week... the many texts you send! On Monday I received these loving texts from you. "You be a beautiful!" and "Many many sweet kisses." and "I can't wait to see you love." You are so thoughtful! The next day I received "Morning sweet love" and "I can't wait to see you love." The following three days: "Morning sweet amazing love." "You make me so happy" and "I can't wait to see you." I truly can't think of anything better to read while at work than texts like these! Love, in my worst moments, I remember how much you love me and it changes my whole day. If someone as amazing and handsome as you could love me... there must be something good with me. You are such a huge part of my life and I want to spend every minute I can with you.

March 17, 2012

Saturday! Today we cleaned quite a bit and you started cooking dinner super early for St. Patty's day!!! Corned beef and brisket... mmmmmm. (with weird cabbage). You are an amazing cook! After getting that started, cleaning, and eating lunch... you and I headed off to the store to grab stuff for the week. I love shopping with you. It's so much fun to shop with you than anyone else. I also love how affectionate you are. We'll stop in an isle and as I take forever to find what we're looking for (since I'm a little slow), you very sweetly wrap your arms around my waste and kiss me on the check :^) I love you so much!

Once we get everything we need done, Jeff soon arrives. Jeff stayed at our place Saturday and Sunday night since he was in town. We had a really scrumptious dinner and talked a lot. Always good to have great friends. I knew Jeff would be a good friend simply based on the fact that Jason picked him... If Jason trust someone then they must be a good person. We spend most of the night catching up and they drank some beer. Jeff also introduced us to some good music. Good times.

Marshmallow Land and Ginger Root Man

March 4, 2012

Sunday mornings are the best... Jason and I get to sleep in forever! So nice! This morning Jason and I slept in and then enjoyed Marshmallow land! Jason and I created the most magical place on earth... underneath the white blanket exists a world with an evil Jason laugh and Linus the Liephant. It's my happy place. Later on in the day, Jason and I had a hug contest... I won. I win it every time. Jason is still confused about how to win the contest... I'm not going to explain how you win or lose because then he could win. Wahahaha. After numerous times of completely kicking ass with the hugging contests... we watched the office and I cleaned up a bit.

Here's a random, fun fact about Sundays: you cannot observe lent on a Sunday... it's the rule. Therefore, Jason and I devoured some ice cream with chocolate syrup and sprinkles... delicious! After watching the office too much and stuffing ourselves with ice cream... we headed to my parent's place for Walking Dead and dinner. One of the funniest parts of the evening was when mom tried to hug me goodbye. Each time we say goodbye and she hugs me, I refuse to let go. It makes her laugh every time for some reason and then she always tries to find ways to get me to stop. Usually I stop when she laughs so hard she eventually says "I have to pee!" and then she goes running to the bathroom. Well, mom tried a new way to get me to stop... she was hugging me like always but all of a sudden she squeeze as tight as she could and then randomly let go... it shocked the hell out of me because she just accidentally won a hugging contest without her knowing!! Jason and I laughed hysterically because it was just like the hug contest we had earlier that morning. . . so, in conclusion: I love Jason because he loses at hug contests, he always makes me laugh, he plays fun games with me and helps create worlds like Marshmallow land. Jason is one of the most  playful and the funniest person I've ever known! I'm so lucky to have him in my life...I am never ever bored!

March 5, 2012

After having such a fun day with Jason yesterday, I decided to let him know how much he means to me in an email. I figured it would start his day off and he deserves to know how much he means to me. This is what I sent:

Good morning hansome ;^)

Hope you slept well. Love, thank you so much for everything you did this week... I couldn't be more amazed at how wonderful you are. I'm the luckiest person in the world because you married me. Every time I'm with other married people I always end up hearing negative things about their spouse... even if I wanted to join in (which I never do), It would take me far too long to have to come up with horrible things about you... there just aren't any. You are always so loving; you work so hard... I mean, you stood out in the rain and cold for me, so that I could go to work. You clean up the house all the time... you are always fixing things in the house. I know for a fact you love me and you think i'm beautiful because you tell me all the time... there are just so many amazing things about you. Love, I will always love you. You make my days so wonderful--even the boring ones :^) I hope you have a good day today. I can't wait to see you! I love you

-love

Jason sent me: "Morning. You are the kindest, sweetest, most beautiful woman in the world :^) I hope you have a great day." How awesome is he! We continued to text each other throughout the day with fun and loving texts. One test made me laugh out load in my office when I read it. I asked Jason if we could go on a walk later. His reply: "F*@% YEAH!!!!!!!!" Hahaha! I love when he gets either super excited about something or he completely goes overboard with excitement just for the hell of it... or to just make me laugh :^) I have a very kind husband... he sends me wonderful texts filled with swear words just to make me laugh.

For dinner Jason requested ham and greed beans. Jason and I officially have stopped being creative for dinner... on Sunday we made a list of like 70 different meals that way we will eat other things than just tacos, meatloaf, and baked chicken. Jason picked ham and green beans... one of my favorite meals! I cooked the green beans like my mom does... boiled them in chicken broth for like 3-4 hours. Jason was late getting off work... Gomez again. I am so thankful for how hard he works... but I really do miss him when he gets home late. Just not the same. So... today I am thankful for how hard Jason works and how hard he tries to make life more enjoyable :^) Thanks love... my life really is much more wonderful with you in it :^)

March 6, 2012

Good morning Tuesday! I'm pretty sure this is the most unappreciated day of the week... can't be tired anymore cause it's not Monday (should be over the whole "damn the weekend is over" thing), can't be happy it's the middle of the week... or the last day of the workweek, and Thursday is just better because the workweek is at least almost over... Tuesdays just suck. There is only one reason that Tuesdays are manageable... I have a handsome, fun, and extremely loving husband to come home to. Jason makes Tuesdays much more enjoyable! For example: after the normal, boring Tuesday workday... Jason and I got to go to Ashley Park and walk. I love doing that! So much fun to just talk and observe other people. Jason and I went around and around and then he took me to Target. Earlier in the day I took a picture of my shoe and texted it to him... there were two ginormous holes in the side of my shoe... it really was bad. Jason's response was: "Holy shit! We are getting you new shoes today!" I don't know why... but that meant a lot to me. Jason cares if my shoes have holes :^) We're in the middle of trying to buy our house, so I figured I'd just wait until we finished doing that. He refused to let me wait and told me we had to get it today. He's a good husband and I think he loves me :^) After I sent him that text and decided I would get shoes, he also sent me a text telling me he couldn't wait to see me. I'm so lucky! So many people don't tell each other how much they care for one another... Jason is soooo wonderful at that!

March 7, 2012

"Good morning beautiful love." That's how my day started. My handsome, awesome husband not only told me I was loved but that I was beautiful... how could that not start your day off wonderfully! Jason texted me throughout the day with either sweet text messages or text messages about my work. Jason's helping my work again by fixing our computer issues... and they are paying him for it! Again... thank you for all you do, love. You work so hard and you take really good care of us. I'm so thankful I can rely on you to make sure we're okay... even at my work. I love you!

March 8, 2012

Thursday!! Almost over day! Truth be told... I have no clue what we did today. I'm writing this a few days after because it's me and I got behind on notes. I usually keep notes of the sweet things you do so I can remember to write them down. I guess I was super busy because I didn't make a note and I only have one text from you on this day. That text said: "Good morning love." Although I don't remember what we did, I can tell you what I was thankful for on this day... I can do that because it's the same things that mean so much to me every day. For example, each morning I get up, shower, eat, and go to kiss you goodbye. You wake up every time just to kiss me goodbye... I can't tell you how much it means to me that you do that. Some days you are so tired I know you probably don't remember what you say, and other days you are wide awake and try to show me how much you love me. I love kissing you goodbye. You always hug me and said "have a good day, love." Thanks for always loving me... in sleepy moments and wide-awakefulness. . . ? :^) Anyway, thanks.

One more thing before I end today's entry... thanks for the "Good morning love" texts, the random high fives you let me have, the "cuddles" moments, and the good night kisses. I'm so lucky that we have those moments daily... not just once a week or occasionally... daily. I couldn't of dreamed up a better husband!

P.S. I just remembered we went on a walk and got half a dozen bagels from Panera today!! We kept them for breakfast for the weekend with cream cheese.... mmmmm. We walked around Ashley Park and then to Panera. I remember I looked over and saw a girl walking across the street and said "Why is she walking? She should just drive!" You then looked at me and said "probably because of the same reasons you and I are walking right now......." Haha. Happy Thursday!

March 9, 2012

Friday Friday Friday! Today I woke up and ate my delicious bagel from Panera. Later I discovered you had done the same thing because you texted me how great the bagel was :^) I love that you share the little moments of your life with me... even simple things like how great the bagel was that you had for breakfast. Or like when we were dating and you sent me a text that said: "Mmmmmmmmmmm strawberry oatmeal!" :^) You are happy about the little things in life... I'm lucky to have someone so positive around me. We both probably lean toward pessimism--you would say realism--but in either case we both work really hard to be positive. That means a lot to me. Also... today you said you could see how hard I was working on trying to be happy. Thanks for noticing that. Ever since you talked to me about how depressed I was, I've really been working on it... it's good to know you've noticed :^) You're really good about noticing others... you just be an awesome like that :^)

later in the day, you sent me a test that said "You be a great!!!!!!!" :^) Thanks, man. You be pretty spectacular too :^) (No jokes please about how you said "great" not spectacular." ;^)

After work you and I went to the Home Depot to look for a thing to put your Mash (?) in... that beer making things. I don't know all the lingo yet... anyway, we met a fun guy who looked for a nozzle that we could use for the mash. He asked what exactly we were going to use the cooler/nozzle for... when we said "beer" he looked super excited. All I could think was he probably thought we were going to load the cooler up with beer and have a continuous feed with a nozzle so everyone could get drunk... pretty sure you didn't realize that's probably what he thought. To you... you were just trying to make beer :^) I love the weird, wonderful things that you build, make, blow up, etc. Makes me so happy to know my amazing husband could do just about anything he wanted to :^)

March 10, 2012

Saturday was busy!!! You and I woke up early and headed over to my work to meet John. You very generously offered to fix our computer issues. We spend a while there looking at everything. You, John, and I must have been there for over three hours. Again... you be a hard worker.

Later in the day we went home and randomly played the "nose game." This is the game where I poke your nose. You inevitably try to ruin the game by trying to poke my nose back. I promptly hide my nose as you try to pull my hands away from my face. Since I have super badass upper body strength. . . you always are unable to move my hands. Wahahaha. Unfortunately you always try to pry my hands apart and then say you poked me... truth: you never do :^)

After recovering from the game/war mentioned above, you and I get in the car to head over to Pam and Jerry's. (Just realized Pam and Jerry's is very close to Ben and Jerry's... and we always get amazing dessert when we go... hmm). So... we stop at kroger really quickly to get something before we head that way (I forget what). While in Kroger you and I come across Ginger Root. This is the amazing root that is tiny and costs a horrible amount of money, which I always have to get for my turkey at Thanksgiving. Anyways... you pick up one crazy looking bit of ginger root, show it to me, and yell "Ginger root dude!" Looked totally like a little man! Creepy! I love that you do things like that, too. You make fun of me for trying to spot smilie faces in everything, but you are the creeper who finds people in food :^) We're meant for each other!

RIP Timmy the Tiburon

February 26, 2012

Sunday! Jason and I went to St. Paul's church today. I enjoyed it... the priest quoted Charlie Brown... how could you not like that!! After church we went home so I could clean a bit. Jason has been doing so much for us lately that I wanted to give him a break... I cleaned the kitchen and did some laundry and whatnot. Jason was able to relax and play video games. I love listening to him play video games "Take that you bitch!!! WTF MOVE!!!! AHHHH!!!!" Needless to say... he gets pretty intense when battling on a video game :^) After that we met Anna and Travis at Pizza Hut for lunch... sooooo good! We had fun catching up with them as always. We then went grocery shopping and came home. Jason did the cat litter for us... eww! After that we quickly went to my parent's place for my brother-in-law's birthday party... busy day! Jason and I helped with signs, cleaning the table, and making cupcakes. Fun fun! We then ate a huge dinner with amazing food and then watched the Walking Dead. We even skyped Jamie from LA! So cool! Jace and Jordyn must have been amazed... I loved watching them. We ended up watching the Walking Dead while skyping in during the show's breaks. very cool.

February 27, 2012

Not a good day for me personally. During my lunch break at work... my car dies. I barely made it to my parent's place for lunch. Mom luckily drove me back to work and then picked me up. After work I decided to take a nap at her place... I was exhausted and super stressed. Wasn't smart though because I woke up with a stye in my eye. Gee! One of those days where everything goes wrong... almost everything. I honestly can't explain how thankful I am for Jason. Without him I would have been an even bigger mess! Not only is Jason working on Gomez this week and having to work late... he drove to get parts for my car after work, drove to my parents' place, and then worked on my car until after dark! He's so amazing and wonderful! My dad... also being amazing... helped us with the car and charged it over night. I called my boss to let him know I would need tomorrow off to fix all these issues. Luckily he was understanding and let me. Guess we'll see what we can do tomorrow. For now... Timmy needs a break.

February 28, 2012

I spent the first part of today relaxing at home... everything was clean and I couldn't drive anywhere. Jason unfortunately had to work on Gomez. My plan was to go get my car while Jason was at work. Dad was charging my battery overnight... I hoped it would be able to drive after that. Alas... once mom and I tested the car, it died within a minute. By that point it was too late to do anything because I had to get home for our home inspection. Mom drove me to the house next door to us and we met with our home inspector. He walked us around and showed us the very few problems there were with the house... we picked a good one it sounds like! Mom had never seen the house so we gave her a tour. She loved it! Soon after the inspection mom left and Jason arrived home. I can't explain how much I admire Jason. I've never met a man who works so hard and is so wonderful! After working such a long day... he got in the car and took me back to my car. He then worked on my car for another 3 or four hours in the cold... and rain!! I felt so bad! He was soaked by the end of it. Neither one of us ate dinner... Jason was too stressed and I started feeling really sick. It was a really bad day. My goal for this blog was to write down one thing I love about Jason each day... one of the easiest goals ever. Even on our very worst day, Jason still proves to be amazing, loving, and unbelievably hardworking. I cannot emphasize enough how much he means to me... that man worked out in the cold, rainy, cement for hours trying to fix my car! I'm so lucky to have him in my life... and I'm so sorry about my car, love.

After realizing it was getting too late and I was feeling really ill... I called into work again because there was no way I was going to be able to counsel people feeling like this. We then went home.

February 29, 2012

Wednesday. I was off work and felt horrible. I literally did nothing but watched Glee and the office all day. My mom and dad were wonderful and had my car towed because there was no way to fix it. My dad found a really great mechanic that fixed it for around 200 bucks... apparently alternators on Tiburon suck. They put them on the very bottom of cars . . . you actually have to take the axle off to change it! Once Jason got home (again... he had to work late), we literally did nothing. I felt so bad... Jason had worked so hard at his job and also on my car... he hasn't had a break. We just sat on the couch and watched tv. Today I am thankful for Jason's ability to chill out. He works really hard all the time... but he knows when he needs to rest. I am so glad he chose to rest today... we both needed it.

March 1, 2012

"Can't wait to come home to you." Those were the very kind words of my amazing husband early that morning. I had returned to work finally and he continued to work... he needs a break more than anyone... he deserves it more than anyone! I couldn't wait to get home to him either. We both just wanted the week to be over! After work I got some distressing news from work... apparently the evil Susan at my work is not only trying to get my boss fired but might try to get me fired as well. I found out that she complained to her "mother-in-law" that she and I don't "see eye to eye." A.k.a. I don't like her, I know she's manipulative, I don't play her games, and I know she's trying to get me to do her work for her. . . well, her mother-in-law complained to the second head guy at the company who them called John. Apparently he told John he needed to get a handle on it because he wouldn't want to lose a good employee..." pretty sure they'd fire me to keep Susan. Awesome. I told Jason because I immediately freaked... apparently you can get fired now even when you don't do anything wrong. I don't like her but I've never been rude or inconsiderate or mean... just not friendly (don't say "Hi! How are you? Have a good weekend? blah blah blah.... I might still be upset). Anyway... Jason was amazing and very comforting. He was worried too but we both talked it out. I'm very thankful I have a husband who cares and listens... he really is the kindest man I've ever met! I felt so much better after hugging him. Thanks Jason for not thinking I'm an emotional wreck or that I look like goo.

March 2, 2012

Friday!! Last day of the work week! Almost over! Jason and I both worked a normal work day; however, we both got a really fun email during work. We received an email from the guy we are buying the house from... crazy! After we did the inspection we asked him to fix all the problems... there were so few problems and he agreed to pay up to $500 repairs that it shouldn't have been a problem. We just needed the trims on the windows replaced if rotted; sealant on the siding; a new outlet downstairs; and remounting a cabinet in the kitchen that was leaning. Not that much... he flipped! Huge email basically telling us he wasn't going to fix the repairs unless we were willing to pay the price he did for the house $151,000. . . hello! Not our fault the market is down and you lost money. Anyway... that was fun. We'll see what happens there.

After work, I got to pick up my car! It was fixed. The mechanic told me to let Jason know there was no way he could have fixed it without the kind of equipment a professional mechanic has. Apparently they had trouble fixing it! I think it helps knowing that we didn't waste money... we had to fix it that way. He seemed to admire Jason though for trying so hard... I think dad told him all he had done. Once I got home I let Jason know what he'd said. Jason is a wonderful man who can fix anything in my mind... I don't doubt that if Jason had the equipment, he would have figured out how to fix it. I love how intelligent and handy Jason is. However... love, I want you to know that I would love you just as much if you weren't able to even fix a chair. I mean that... although it is really handy that you know how to build, repair, and fix things... that wasn't at all what drew me to you. I fell in love with you because of your money ;^) Just kidding! Truth is I first noticed you because of how weird you were :^) I love how weird you are... you're the perfect weird for me. You laugh at all the dumb stuff I laugh at. You scream and yell just for the hell of it. You are unbelievably kind and you stand up for people, especially the ones who don't have a voice or are usually put down... I love that about you! And you are rather handsome, too. Love, please know that if you lost your ability to fix even dinner... I would love you just as much as I do now. You are the most wonderful man I've ever met and I'm so thankful to have the honor of coming home to you each night. Although I don't like the bad part about this week... it reminded me of how wonderful you are.

March 3, 2012

Saturday!!! Jason very amazingly offered to fix my work's computers/monitors for them today. After the horrible week we had he still was okay taking his Saturday to work on that! Jason even earned some extra money that can pay for my car! I truly hate that he did all that work though and couldn't spend it on something he wanted. I said that to him and his response shows how amazing he is: "We're getting a house!" Another amazing quality of Jason is his generosity. He works so hard to help people and then he lovingly gives away what he earns to someone else... last time he gave me a massage; this time he fixed my car. I know we're married and it all goes to the same account, but it still means the world to me! So many husbands or wives would have said "This is extra... I did the work so it's my money." Truthfully... I would totally want him to spend it on him, but he is so generous and kind he spent it on my car. He knew we'd be stressed for money for the house so he put it to use on a bill. I love how responsible he is... I really do. Him doing things like that relieves so much stress on me... I can't thank him enough for that!

Make me an offer!

February 19, 2012

Sunday. Today we slept in again... I love that! We then had lunch with Anna and Travis at Zaxbys. So yummy! After lunch we went home, cleaned a little, and relaxed. I played Zelda... my amazing Christmas gift that Jason got me! He is probably the most amazing person at gift-giving... he actually buys things he thinks you would enjoy,  not him. That's a wonderful, thoughtful gift giver :^) Plus, Zelda... Too much fun! Nothing too major happened today... just an ordinary day. Jason and I decided to go to Lowes again... we can't seem to stop looking at house stuff! We browsed a little and then placed an order at Shane's Rib Shack for dinner. We picked it up and then headed over the my parent's place for the Sunday night Walking Dead! First time we'd be watching it without Jamie being in town. It was a lot of fun. After the show we quickly went home to go to bed because we get up crazy early.

February 20, 2012

Make an offer day! After I got off work Jason and I were going to meet with our real estate agent to make an offer on a house! So excited!! Jason had the day off because of President's day. He had lunch at ACC with old coworkers and then met me at our real estate agent's office... they came in on their day off to meet with us! That's a hardworking person... Anyway, we signed a ton of papers and they then sent it to the buyer. We were told we had three days to hear back from them. Jason and I are so excited!

February 21, 2012

We both return to work today. All day Jason continually sent me sweet text messages! Examples: "Morning sweet love." or "I can't wait to kiss you love." or "You be a great!" I am so thankful I have such a caring husband... I never wonder how he feels about me because he tells me all the time! Jason, you are amazing, wonderful, kind, smart, super handsome, and . . . you be an awesome, too! After work, Jason and I decided to eat at Chick Fil A for dinner! So yummy! Jason decided he wanted a milk shake after dinner. I turned around to look at him in line... I kept thinking how wonderful he is and how handsome he is. No one better than Jason. As I was thinking this I received a text massage... it was from Jason. It said: "Insert cat noise" Hahahahaha! This is why I love him! Never ever bored :^)

February 22, 2012

Today was the day we heard back about the offer for the house! As I was leaving for my lunch break I got a call from Rose Davis (one of the real estate agent's we're working with). She said they have a counter offer. It was only 2,000 more than what we originally asked for... we took the deal. Jason and I both thought it was good. I quickly printed out the documents, we signed, and faxed it back to her. We has a house soon!!! We then went home, emailed our current landlord, and informed him we would not be buying the house we are renting now. He seemed upset. Jason and I went to Ashley Park and walked some and then... off to Home Depot! Mr. B called and seemed worried. He told us he'd be okay with a lower price and he'd do anything to keep up in the house. We tried to politely decline but he asked us to think about it and make him an offer. He doesn't know we already put in an offer for a house. We'll do that another day...

February 23, 2012

Last night I had a nightmare that really got to me. I hated doing it, but I woke Jason up and asked if we could cuddle. He was very sweet and he held me til I had to get up for work. I've always had really bad nightmares, especially since working at the Welcome House... Jason's amazingly kind and caring with things like this. I can't explain how much that means to me! Again, thanks Jason for how wonderful you really are!

Later on in the day we heard from our real estate agents... they accepted the offer and signed it! Not such a bad day after all!! We then went walking around in Ashley Park when Jason called to see if Jordan could spend the night.... he could! We quickly left Ashley Park so we could go pick him up from Emery... Tiffany was there because she was visiting her sister. He then came home with us... I went to bed cause I was so tired while he and Jason played video games.

February 24, 2012

Friday!!!!!! Today Jason spoke with our loan officer and we are scheduled to meet with him tomorrow! So exciting! Also, Jason has today off... which is why Jordan could spend the night with us. They both drove down to meet me for lunch and go to Burger King... note: do not go to Burger King at Newnan. It was gross. Anyway... I got to show Jordan around and introduce him to everyone. It was fun. When I got home for work I realized how amazing Jordan and Jason are... they cleaned the entire house!! How amazing is that!!! It looked so good... and it helped me focus on getting our papers ready for the loan officer tomorrow... took forever! For dinner we drove Jordan home and ate with Pam, Jerry, Tiffany, and Jordan! So great to see them!!! Pam made amazing meatballs!! She's such a good cook. We all had a lot of fun talking and spending time together. We really need to see them more. I'm very thankful Jason came from such a great family... they are all very kind, funny, and smart. I love that! We both are lucky to have such amazing in-laws... and I mean that!

February 25, 2012

Saturday! Jason and I got up, finished getting our financial papers in order, and then went to Panera for lunch... we slept in waaaay too late for breakfast. We then went to Home Depot and walked around until time to meet with our loan officer. Finally two O'clock hit! We went to meet Brad and then began the process to get our loan! Everything was working out so perfectly! It went really well and we're on track for a house! We then decided to go ahead and tell our landlord that we placed an offer in on a house. He took it really well! Better than we expected. All seems to be going perfectly. I'm so lucky to have a husband who plans for the future and balances me out. We both talked about how impatient I am and how super patient Jason is... both can be good and bad. Jason said he would probably wait forever until the perfect moment came and would probably still be waiting on a house if it weren't for my impatience. I, on the other hand, would have tried to purchase a house months earlier and gotten into a financial ruin. We're a good team!

Be My Valentine

February 12, 2012

Sunday: Jason and I slept in a bit, cleaned, and ate at Panera for lunch, then Chin Chin for dinner. So good! After all that we headed off to Newnan. Walking Dead was returning to the screen and Jamie was home for it, too! So cool to see my brother on TV. I can't believe he did that! Jason very kindly spent two evenings in a row with my family... I'm so thankful that we get along with both sides of the family and we actually enjoy being with them. We need to see Pam, Jerry, Jordan, and Tiffany soon, too.

February 13, 2012

Today we returned to work. Jason started training at work today with Ken and John.... he always gets off late when he does training so I knew I'd miss him. I was hoping he'd get home quickly because we really needed to get our emissions test done for his car today. Luckily he got home around 5ish... he said he had to stop for gas which is why he was late. I asked if we could go now to do it even though he just got home... I hated asking that. He actually had a CT scan set up for 6. We were pushing it. He drove to Newnan quickly and we made it in time to get the emissions done and he was able to work from my parent's place to do the CT! It was a busy day. Thank you Jason, again, for how hard you work... you had a nonstop day today. Even after he finished his CT scan we went to Sams and then finally ate at KFC. Then when we got home we made a fire and read on the couch together. We're currently reading "Man seeks God." Good book for a depressed 20 year old in the middle of trying to figure out religion. I started to get tired so I knew I would need to go to bed soon. I asked Jason if I could rub his feet... he'd worked so hard today. After a while of rubbing his feet I asked if I could cuddle a little on the couch as we watched the fire... he said he needed to finish something first. I waited a while and, being a little impatient, I asked again if we could cuddle again. He said he needed just one more moment. Finally he finished whatever he was doing and we relaxed together. I promptly fell asleep and was woken up by Jason saying I should go to bed. He said he was going to stay up a little longer. He kissed me goodnight and turned the lights out for me. Not too long after he went to bed, too. What a busy day!

February 14, 2012

I woke up this morning and did my regular routine: took a shower, made breakfast, and then sat down on the computer to write Jason my usual "Good morning love" email. Instead... I had an email from Jason. This is what it said:

Love,
You are the reason I get up in the morning. I am definitely not a morning person but I look forward to being woken up by you.

Not too long ago we made lists for each other with things that we really like. I just want you to know that the list image wasn't 1/1000th the way I really feel about you. I can't think of words to describe how much you mean to me but if I were to try it would look something like " I fucking love your guts :) happy Valentine's day."

I hope you like your gifts. I wanted to get flowers but they were ravaged and I wanted to get you candy but you can't have any. Every time we go to target you look at the wine rack that is slightly flimsy. You should look on the bar. Even if it breaks I promise to try to fix it for you. Also, enjoy the goldfish on the table :)

Ps. I am writing this while you are rubbing my foot and yes I really do want to be done so we can cuddle together. I love being with you more than anything in the world.

How sweet is that!!!!!!! I immediately began crying because... come on! I didn't expect that at all! We had said no gifts so I was floored! I tried to write a sweet letter back but I just couldn't find the words... nothing I do or say will ever be able to describe how fully I love Jason! He's waaaaay out of my league, unbelievably sweet, very handsome, and the most loving person I've ever met! After reading that message I went to kiss him good morning and thank him. He told me he loved me and that I deserved it... I can't believe how sweet he is!

My day was immediately awesome after that! Work was not too busy and everyone was in a good mood. After work I immediately drove to get my our new car tags; I cleaned the house like crazy before Jason got home; showered; and then I wrapped his gift. I finished moments before Jason got home! As soon as he got home I made him unwrap his gift... an electric kettle. I figured he makes tea every day... maybe he might want one at work or at home that makes it faster. He said he really liked it! I also had preheated the heating pad for his back and then gave him a back massage. We then made a really great spaghetti dinner together and watched a Charlie Brown Valentine's day with the little red-headed girl!! Then we watched Date Night and cuddled on the couch. It was a really wonderful Valentines day!

February 15

Today was my birthday. I took the day off to enjoy it a bit. I slept in, cleaned up the house, did some laundry, and relaxed a little. Jason, being super amazing, gave me a very kind birthday gift! Jason got some extra money for installing cameras at my work... he offered me 50 bucks to go get a massage. How amazing is he! I ended up at Massage envy and got a really wonderful hour massage... Jason is officially the greatest man who has ever lived! :^) Once Jason got home and I finished my massage, he took me out to Franks! Frank's is a super romantic, fancy restaurant. . . connected to a gas station. It's one of my favorite places to eat! Amazing Italian food! Jason and I had a nice little table next to two crazy men... still not sure what they were talking about. It was lovely! Thanks Jason for a really great Valentines Day and birthday!

February 16

My day started with another text from Jason... "Morning wonderful love." I really can't tell you how much these texts mean to me. Later on in the day I received another text saying "You be a great." :^) After work, I couldn't wait to see Jason... he was working on Gomez today so he didn't get off work until 4:45. Such a long day! Even after a long day like that, Jason asked if we could walk in Ashley Park! I love that about Jason... he's not the type of person to just sit and groan about his day (like I am). He likes to get out and do something productive... I really love that. Helps me to get out and not watch tv all day, too.

February 17

Today if Friday! After work we planned to go to my parent's place for a good-bye dinner for Jamie... Jamie was leaving Ga to return to LA. We had a really fun dinner! We ate and laughed and talked with Jamie. He seemed to be doing better than when he first got to Ga. It was a really great dinner! After Jason and I went home I told him how I feel badly that we've seen most of my side of the family and not his side. I love them, too... very much! Jason and I decided we'd ask Jordan to spend the night tomorrow and hopefully be able to see everybody else, too.

February 18

Today Jason called Jordan and asked him to come over. Jordan wasn't able to come this weekend though. We decided we'd shoot for next weekend. So, Jason and I just stayed in and relaxed some today. It was a nice, quite day at home. Another fun thing I love about Jason: he's not a huge fan of big, loud places/parties. That may be a weird thing to love about him, but I do... I like my quite evenings and I love that Jason is the same way. It's nice to be able to relax together.

We did get out some, however. We went shopping at Lowes and Home Depot . . . this officially has become our new date night spot since in the process of buying a house! It's fun to walk down the isle and imagine our house and what we'd do with it. Jason said he'd love having our own home because of all the projects he would immediately get to have. I love that! There is no one else I'd rather buy a house with and come home to than Jason P. Brown :^)

February 5, 2012

Today was awesome! We decided to get our taxes done today. I worked two hours trying to get all our documents in order (we are still a little disorganized due to no filling cabinet... turns out having just stacks of papers is not good when you have to find something). After a while we finally found them, we ate lunch at Zaxbys, and then off to get our taxes done. We were super excited to learn that we were getting... 3,000 dollars back! That would be a good start to our down-payment for a house! Our loan officer said we needed minimally 2,500... done! Turns out Jason accidentally had it that he was single on his taxes... That turned out to be a beautiful mistake because we has down-payment now :^) We immediately left and decided we needed to spend some money on a filing cabinet for next year.  This was a great day. I am thankful that Jason makes mistakes sometimes :^)

February 6, 2012

Today we went back to work and then decided to go shopping since we had extra money. We went to target where we immediately began filling our cart with these things: a soda maker, a wet-vac, fireproof safe, label maker... and we kept looking. Apparently getting a ton of money unexpectedly is very exciting and potentially dangerous. Jason and I stopped in the middle of an isle and looked at the cart. Jason said "we don't need this wet-vac right now. I then said... we don't need to get the fireproof box immediately. We both decided to wait until the excitement went away before buying this much stuff. We then put everything back... except the soda machine cause it was awesome! I love that Jason is smart, good with money, and he thinks things through. I can always count on him :^)

February 7, 2012

Today I got the sweetest message ever from Jason:  Love, when I look at you I just want to marry you all over again. How amazingly sweet is he! I know most people read stuff like that and immediately begin making gag noises... truth is, it's sweet and I know he means it :^) I love that Jason doesn't hesitate to tell me how he feels. Thanks for being so loving!

Also, we went back to Target and got the fireproof box... I'm not as good about waiting for things as Jason is.

February 8, 2012

Today was a hard day for me, but good. I had a lot going through my mind because I wasn't allowed to talk all day. I had all my ADHD patients at work which means they kept talking and talking and talking. Then I got off work and met some people who wouldn't let me talk either... I felt like I was about to explode with thought! Finally, as Jason and I drove to Oz in Fairburn to meet the Mayhews, Jason let me talk. I wasn't super upset or anything... I just needed a chance to say something; to be heard even if it was just about what I had for lunch. Jason listened. I love him for that! He actually cares how I am and what I did throughout my day... It means so much to me that he cares that much. I hope he knows how much I care about him and his day, too.

Anna and Travis were so much fun to be with! We were there for hours talking about random things... I think we laughed harder than anyone else there. They also were so sweet and gave me a birthday present (a lantern)! They wrapped it in the same bag I gave Travis for his birthday: a Disney princess bag :^)

February 9, 2012

Jason was still feeling sick today... Georgia is not a good place for people with sinus trouble. We decided to relax after work. We both just sat and watched tv. I needed to clean up but Jason was sweet and said we could do it later. We just relaxed together on the couch. Today I am thankful that Jason doesn't push himself too hard and he doesn't want me to either.

February 10, 2012

Friday! Date night was at Cracker Barrel this time... yum! It was raining so we weren't able to walk, but we did enjoy each other's company. Nothing major happened, but it was a great day. I just realized something: my ordinary days where nothing happened are days still filled with text messages from Jason saying he loves me and doing sweet things. He sent me a text this morning that said "Morning sweet wonderful love :^) " That is an ordinary day for me... I'm so lucky. Jason, thank you for making that a normal part of my day. It still is just as special and I'm so thankful you always leave me sweet messages.

February 11, 2012

This is the Saturday I had to work from 7-9. Luckily... Jason got to come to work around 9:15 to install cameras for my work... they paid him, of course. I was so proud that my amazing husband could do things like that. No one else knew how to install that and Jason was just the guy for it! I'm always so proud to be married to him... he's everything anyone could ever want: smart, funny, very handsome, kind, romantic, and he still manages to be humble. He probably wouldn't agree with the humble part... however, you can't be arrogant when you say things like "I'm no better than anyone else." I love that about him. He doesn't just say that either... I know he really means it.

Anyway, Jason spent 4 hours setting those things up. He actually told me that he wanted me to take part of the money he worked so hard for and spend it on a massage for my birthday!! How amazing is that! I really can't believe how thoughtful and loving he always is.

After working Jason and I went to my parents place for my birthday dinner... we were having it early since Jamie was home and I wasn't sure how long he'd be here. When we got there Jamie bolted right for us and gave us the biggest hug! Man I've missed him!! It was such a great night... mom cooked my favorite dinner: roast with her famous, stolen german chocolate cake! And dad made homemade roles! Yum!  We all sat around and talked and watched Jordyn and Jace play Power Rangers together. Mom made a fire in the fireplace and we all just relaxed and caught up with Jamie. To this day roast, firewood, and bread are the smell of home. One thing I love about going home is getting to see Jason with my family... they really, really love him. My parents always offer him a beer first thing and then ask him about what he's working on now. I love that. I love how much he obviously cares about them, too. They tell me all the time how great of man he is and how glad they are that he's with me. I'm so thankful for that! That was one of the best birthday dinners ever. Mom and dad gave me a card with money . . . they said they were going to get me a wine wrack but they weren't sure if that's something Jason would have wanted more or if I'd of really liked it. They decided to let me chose. I said I'm going to save it to buy our house. Ash and Chris got me a cool dry-erase board that I really like! Jamie said his gift will arrive after he leaves... I'm just glad he's home. Anyway: good day!

Difficult Moments

January 22, 2012

Jason and I briefly woke up to say goodbye to our friend. We then went back to bed. After seeing all that they went through, Jason and I made sure to spend time with just each other today. Jason spent a great deal of time showing me how much I mean to him and letting me do the same. He spend so much time cleaning our house and doing simple, little things that really can impact marriages in big ways. Love, thank you love for taking care of our house, our cats, family, friends, and me. You are wonderful beyond belief and I can't thank you enough for what you did today. I've never doubted our marriage and it's because of the many things you do for us each day. So many people only take birthdays or Valentines day to show others that they care... you show me every day. I love you so much! One of the sweetest things Jason did was this: after seeing what our friend went through, he asked me "Is there anything that I can do better for you, love?" It's because he asks things like this and I try to do the same that we have such a wonderful marriage. I think most marriages are ruined for the same reasons... people end up hating their life and they blame the other person for it. Most 20 year-olds end up depressed because that's when you realize life isn't what you thought. Paying bills, working just to earn money to live, constantly doing mundane things (laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc)... who wouldn't get upset realizing this is the majority of their day. I think most people are unhappy with their lives and get tired of the meaningless things and they blame their spouse for not working hard enough, helping around the house enough, or they realize it would be less responsibility if they were just on their own. Truth is... I'm the only one who can make me happy about life. It's not Jason's fault. Just like it's not my fault if he's unhappy with his life. One main reason I love Jason is that he works to make his life enjoyable... he does projects, sees friends, goes for walks, reads, etc. Thank you for taking responsibility of your own happiness and letting me be there to enjoy it with you. I promise I will do everything I can to help you with your load just like you do with me, love. Thank you for being kind, thoughtful, and loving . . . in good and bad, sickness and health, richer or poorer. Thank you for making those words mean something. I love you

January 23-25, 2012

I'm summing up three days at once because nothing major happened. Jason and I spent the majority of our days working, going for walks in Ashley Park, eating Cheerios for dinner, and enjoying fun tv shows. Jason made a special effort this week to send me really sweet text massages. I always get "good morning love" text massages, but I received a lot more throughout the next few days. The texts were filled with Jason saying he loves me, asking how I am, or just sending me funny stories. I love how he always tries to include me in his day . . . even at work :^)

January  26, 2012

Today I missed Jason. We both went to work and then after work Jason went out with coworkers to eat. I'm glad he did because I know he needs other people than just me... but I did miss him. It's weird to come home and not hear Jason randomly swearing at something or screaming in excitement because he fixed whatever it was that was broken. I love that about him! The randomness of Jason is my favorite.

Today Jason and I discovered we prequalified for a mortgage! He texted me when he got the call. I try each day to write something down that I love about Jason... today I kept thinking about being in our own home. So many people marry and eventually end up dreading going home... not me. The best part of my day is when Jason walks in the door and I get to hug him. I can't wait to buy our home so we can begin gardening together, reading books by a fire, hanging pictures of us on the wall, and playing with our cats on the stairs. I don't really care where we live, just as long as it's you walking in whatever door it is, love.

January 27, 2012

Today was a hard day for me. I had five patients end up in the hospital. . . one has cancer and was told she has two months left to live. It was one of those days where I was overloaded and felt like the world just sucks for no reason. Sometimes it's really hard to be a counselor... to sit in a room for five hour straight and have to listen to really horrible things. It is stressful to say the least. Well, when I got home I was exhausted. Jason and I decided to go for a walk. I ended up crying and looking like goo because of everything. Jason is amazing during moments like this. My whole life I've heard "don't be emotional. Women are always overemotional." I hate that. When I'm upset Jason always says "You can be upset, it's okay." He spent time out of his day to listen to me and hold me. I love Jason for that. He's such a great comfort.

January 28, 2012 and January 29, 2012

Although no one ever sees Jason and I fight... we have them. Just like every other normal, healthy couple... we have arguments and have difficult moments. Today was one of those. Jason had been quiet all morning and I knew something was wrong. After a while, Jason lovingly sat down next to me on the couch and asked if we could talk. Jason let me know that he was having a difficult time lately. He said he has to work really hard to be happy. Yesterday he was having a good day, but I wasn't. He ended up comforting me, but it ruined his day. It was a hard conversation, but very much needed. We talked and realized that I need to work toward making myself happier and not letting my work ruin my day. Although he is unbelievably good at comforting me, I need to be better at comforting myself. He let me know it was, of course, okay to cry and tell him how I'm doing... but I need more people and I need more than just work. I need more hobbies, friendships, and more things to do than just work. He's right. I let him know I'd work on it. We came up with a plan. We always have date nights on Fridays.... well, we added another date night... a different one. I think everyone has moments like this in marriage. We realize we need more than just our spouse. This also puts us at risks: getting involved in other relationships or hobbies could cause us to grow farther away from our spouse. Therefore, Jason and I will be doing fun projects together every Wednesday. The rules are: do not discuss work; do something fun and new (no tv); and do it together. Either he or I will pick what we will do together every Wednesday... I'm going first this coming Wednesday. I have to pick something for us both and then next Wednesday he will pick something. We can grow closer together while putting happier, new events in our lives. Also... another part of the plan is we both need hobbies outside of each other and we need to see friends, too.

I don't love arguing with Jason, having difficult conversations that are uncomfortable, or fighting... but it is probably what will save our marriage. Without those moments we will never be better, grow, or improve our personal lives and relationship. Thank you for saying difficult things, love. I love that we never raise our voice. Never do we yell or call each other names. Our arguments are loving but difficult. Jason is officially the best person to argue with or fight with ever! I would much rather have a day like this than never talk and end up in divorce. I love you Mr. Brown!

Also... thanks for yelling at me and calling me names when we are NOT fighting... I love fake fighting with you. Most people try to fake fight with each other, but there is a secret to it that most don't get. You can only fake fight when you aren't angry at all... not even a little bit. You can't fake fight if you say something that is true and could be hurtful. It has to be outrageous and nothing like the other person. Example: Jason is not a lazy person at all! Thank you for that, by the way. When fake fighting I could easily and with no issue yell at the top of my voice "I hate you! You lazy, good-for-nothing, sh@%-faced mother f'er!!!" I can totally call him that whenever I want because he isn't lazy, he is totally worth more than I could ever say, and he doesn't do that last part either :^) I love him!

We also had a lovely dinner at the Mayhew house. They made really great burgers and we watched "Up the creek without a paddle"... so funny! This was a good way to begin incorporating happiness back into life :^) Jason continually held my hand and put his arm around me. It was really nice to get out and relax a little. After this weekend, Jason and I really needed something fun. Thank you Mayhews for a relaxing evening. And, thank you Jason for being extra affectionate after arguments and being very loving always.

January 30, 2012

Good morning Monday. Monday morning came with a lovely text from Jason telling me he loves me and that he thinks I'm beautiful... I'm so thankful he continually sends me those texts. Things like that are why I never doubt our marriage... he always reminds me how lucky I am.

After work Jason and I did some house hunting. We were going to walk in Ashley Park but it started raining. Oh well... gave us a chance to go to Sams and dream about a new home. As we drove around I began dancing in the car to Beirut's "Vagabond" song. I always move my shoulder up and down weirdly and make funny faces with this song. I then made a joke about being weird... Jason's reply made me so happy. He said, "I would never trade you in for a normal person." :^)

January 31, 2012

All I can say about today is: more house hunting. It continually rained but we went looking for a house. I think we're way too excited about this. Today was a regular, nothing-too-exciting-day. I hope I always get to spend ordinary days with the man I love. Even driving around in a car listening to Beirut is fun with him :^)

February 1, 2012

Today is our Wednesday date night where we begin incorporating happiness to our lives. I planned scrap-booking honeymoon photos, walking in the park, and board games. Unfortunately Jason was feeling sick and it began raining again. Also, I had ordered pictures for scrap-booking but they weren't developed in time... maybe today wasn't a good day to start new projects. We decided to wait until next Wednesday. Jason and I just drove around looking at houses and then watched some TV. It was still really nice watching "Cheers" while massaging Jason's head. I hate seeing him sick. Even when he's sick he tries to push through it... hence the house-hunting. I love how hard he works... but he needs rest, too.

February 2, 2012

Today Jason continued to feel sick. He ended up calling into work because of Sinus issues. He wasn't contagious but felt really bad. Thankfully he was able to relax and rest.

After work we had plans to have Lisa and Daniel over... Jason said it was just sinuses and that he was feeling better so they still got to visit. We made amazing chicken with rice and brownies. Jason was amazing and cooked and cleaned while I socialized. We're a pretty good team... I like to be with people and he likes to do tasks. Works out nicely when we have people over. Without him I'd probably burn everything because I was talking to everyone. I think that's reason number 100,000 why I love Jason :^)

February 3, 2012

Today is Beer Day!!!! Amazing thing about Jason number 10 billion: he makes his own beer along with everything else :^) Today was the day it was finally done (took 4 weeks!). He took a whole day off to enjoy it. I still had to work, but Jason was amazing enough to come visit me for lunch. No, he was not drinking that early in the morning so it was safe for him to drive ;^) We went to Panera and had a lot of fun... as always :^) While at lunch we finally heard from our real estate agent... and we then discovered we were able to look at the house next door to us later today! We loved it!

After discussing buying a home with the real-estate agent, we began talking about other houses to look at. Jason and I disagreed about looking for houses in Newnan. Again, another hard conversation. Jason said he wanted to look from Newnan to Fairburn. I didn't want to look in Newnan. My concern was that we'd move farther away from his side of the family and he'd have to drive farther to work. His concern was that the best houses might be in Newnan. I can't explain why this was a good conversation in the end, but it was. It makes me happy that we both can think differently and we respect each other's opinions. I understood where was coming from: we need to get the house that's best for us. And, he understood my opinion: I don't ever want his parents to think I'm trying to move him father from them and closer toward my side of the family. I really don't want that. Any issues with in-laws could potentially ruin marriages: I've seen it happen. I love my in-laws and Jason loves his. We are unbelievably lucky to have such great parents on both sides. I never ever want to risk hurting that relationship. I know Jason's parents probably wouldn't mind if moved to Newnan, but all I could think was that it wasn't fair. If I had a kid who married some girl, they moved closer to her parents, and I got to see them less... at the very least I'd be sad. We already moved once because of my job... I'd hate to move farther. Anyway... all that to say: I am thankful we both talked about it instead of getting mad and misunderstanding each other. Jason was really good about listen. We've decided to look around, find the best house, with the best location, and just go from there.

February 4, 2012
Saturday: the day of rest. Jason and I majorly slept in! I can't emphasize the majorly enough! Pretty sure it was after lunch when we got up... and we normally wake up at 4:45 or 5:30. What isn't good about sleeping that late is that you get stiff. Jason was super sweet and gave me a massage to help with that... how luck am I! We enjoyed relaxing, watching some tv, and just doing some cleaning around the house. I very relaxing day. For dinner we ate at Taco Mac and played a super fun game that probably most people play... guess that person's life. I'd pick a group of people or a couple and we'd have to guess why they're here, what they're life is like, if they're on a date, etc. I love that Jason and I always have new things to talk about. He researches so much, I interact with so many people at work/family/friends, and we both are interested to figure out why people do what they do... we're never bored at dinner! Amazingness of Jason: how entertaining he is; how smart he is; how hard he makes me laugh. I picked a good one!

After dinner: walking. We discuss many things while walking. One main thing we always come back to is religion. We both have pretty differing views on religion. Most people argue, but luckily we don't. I am okay with him believing something that I don't and I know he's okay that I disagree, too. Truth is: no one has proof either way. Why argue over something you can't be fully certain about.

My most cherished friend and love

January 15, 2012

This morning I woke up to Jordyn peeping in at us from the hall, waiting for us to wake up. Apparently he had been up since sunrise. Jordyn and I played Mario Kart until Jason woke up. Once Jason was up I made pancakes while the two of them built a fire. Jordyn was fascinated by the way Jason made the fire. We all ended up eating pancakes in front of the fire... a really great way to start your day. After pancakes, Jason taught Jordyn how to play Mario from Nintendo64... the one where you jump into the paintings. Jordyn couldn't wait to play a level, but if he thought it was too hard he would hand the controller to Jason :^) He kept asking "Uncle Jason" how to do this and that. It was really sweet. After a while it was time for Jordyn to go home. Jason drove us over to his house and then we left for lunch at momma goldberg's... so good!

When we got home, Jason continued to play Mario. Jason, being amazing, also made time to help clean up before our landlord arrived... our fridge keeps leaking water. After we had all that done and relaxed a little, we headed off to the store. We made bratwurst and mashed potatoes. So good!

Jason and I try to be healthy, so... after eating a completely unhealthy amount of sausage, we headed off to Ashley Park for our evening walk. We walked for over an hour and just talked. This is one of my favorite things we do together. I always learn something new about Jason each time we go for a walk. I learn what kind of ice cream from Cold Stone he likes, his views on religion, what kind of projects he likes/doesn't like at work, etc. Today I learned that Jason plays a game each time we go for a walk... I never knew this til tonight! When we walk he makes rules about what squares he can step on and which ones he can't... if the square has something in it, he can't step on it (like a cup or trash); if the square isn't a full square he doesn't step on it; and he tries to only step on the same column of squares. I had no idea he did this... and he does it every time! He's pretty good at it too. I love that Jason can walk, talk, and play a game all at the same time.

January 16, 2012

Today both Jason and I had the day off! I love days like this... no work, long weekends, and a lot of time together! We woke up late because we could, had our usual weekend breakfast together and watched some tv. Jason helped me clean up after our eventful weekend. I will never be able to explain how much it means to me that he doesn't leave the housework all to me. Jason is always so thoughtful when it comes to things like that. Best husband ever!!! We had a really relaxing day, even cleaning. We washed the dishes together (I rinsed and he dried). After cleaning we went to Kroger to get food for the week. We were having taco salad night with Anna! Yum!! This was the night Jason mentioned taco seasoned chicken... we'll have to try that one day. I'm not sure about it, but Jason usually comes up with really tasty, weird recipes. I trust him. Jason, being amazing, not only is awesome at cleaning but also cooking. One more thing I'd like to note about today... I discovered another wonderful reason I love Jason. I hate touching raw meat... I think that's the grosses part about cooking. Jason today opened the meat for me and put it in the pan! I just noticed that he's done that a lot for me. I hate it, so he is super amazing and does that gross part for me! It's not a huge thing, but that's why I love him... he doesn't have to do a giant romantic gesture... he helps me with the small things. Anyway... Anna came over, we gave her the birthday gift (her birthday is actually on the 19th), and then talked for far too long! It was a good night though!

January 17, 2012

Today Jason went back to work. I thankfully had today off! Luckily Jason works from home Monday and Tuesday so we were able to be together. It kind of reminded me of when we were in college... we used to get our books from different classes and silently read our books together. I loved that in college and I love that now. We both are able to do what we want and still enjoy being together.

Later in the day, Jason and I applied to prequalified for a mortgage... we contacted the same people we did last year to see if we could do it now. Since last year, we both have better jobs and our credit score was sure to have gone up. Guess we'll see! We're suppose to hear from Mr. B how much he wants for the house we're renting... hopefully things will work out. Speaking of Mr. B... he fixed our fridge today! It continually leaked water from inside the fridge. After weeks of asking him to fix it, he finally came over to do so. We also went to go get a Sam's membership... great way to save money, which can help with a down payment! Another amazing thing about Jason: he thinks ahead; he plans. Jason is wonderful at making smart financial choices. I love that! He's good about spending only what we have and working with me on finances. I truly love that I can count on Jason to be wise with our money. He spends hours and hours looking up something on-line to make sure we can get the best deal. I can't thank him enough for how much work he puts into making sure we're financially okay.

January 18, 2012

Back to work today... for both of us. All day Jason kept sending me the sweetest text messages... for example: "Good morning sweet love. You make my days better :^) " How could you start your day off any better! He officially is off "on-call" at work, thank goodness!! I knew he couldn't wait for that to be over :^) Again... so thankful I have a husband who works as hard as he does. I will he was able to get more time off, but I'm so thankful he helps take care of us! He does such a great job at work too... youngest guy there :^)

After work we decided to go for a walk in Ashley Park... favorite thing to do in Newnan! After we walked and went to Barns and Noble, we stopped at my parents place. We had to borrow their printer so we could get a discount off our Verizon bill... had to print a paystub to get an employee discount. My parent's were awesome at letting us borrow their computer. My dad and mom really enjoy Jason's company... don't ask me why ;^) He fixed their computer (shocker!) while we were there, too. While there, I also got to speak to my brother. He called from LA to talk... sounds like he's been lonely and is worried about adjusting up there. Jason, mom, dad, and I all made funny-faced pictures with my phone and then texted them to him... hopefully that cheered him up! I'm glad my husband plays my little games :^) I said "your turn" and Jason immediately did his raised eyebrow look... so funny!

January 19, 2012

Today was an ordinary day. Jason and I went to work, came home, watched Cheers and the Office, cooked yummy chicken together, and then cuddled on the couch. Nothing special... it's actually days like this that I love the most. Nothing better than relaxing with the most handsome man ever. No one better to come home to then him.

January 20, 2012

Friday... a different Friday than most. Jason and I found out something that was hard to hear. A very wonderful friend of ours got some bad news about their spouse. They found out their spouse was having an affair. Our friend was, of course, devastated. We told our friend they were welcome to crash at our place if they needed some place to get away to think. They decided to stay with us for the weekend. Friday we took our friend out for drinks. We ended up singing Beirut songs the whole way there and back. Jason and our friend tried to get my smashed... it worked too. I kept tasting different types of drinks they had... I didn't count any of those as drinks because they were just sips... however, 25 sips is at least one drink. Then I had wine when we got home... being a lightweight, I was tipsy. We all played Mario Kart while drinking... apparently I'm not good at that game while intoxicated. We had a good time together though, and I hope it got our friend's mind off of everything for a while. I eventually fell asleep on the couch and then was told I should go to bed. I did. I love that I can be around Jason and close friends and feel comfortable drinking... even a little more than normal. I know they will keep me safe and won't let me make a fool out of myself.

Saturday morning. Today was a hard day. Our friend woke up and seemed very upset about everything that had happened, understandably so. Jason and I made our friend coffee and Jason cooked our Saturday morning breakfast. We sat and talked about everything, gave our friend some time to vent. I hope we helped. Our friend is a wonderful person... very much in love with their spouse, not willing to give up on them. I don't know if I'd be that strong. . . to have a spouse have an affair and still desire to work through it takes a strong person... a very kind person. Later in the evening after talking and watching happy tv shows, our friend decided to take a break. Jason and I had gotten 50 glass bottles for this very occasion. I knew if it were me... I'd want to break something after news like that. We went outside with the 50 glass bottles and put a bucket underneath our fence. We made a target sign above the box and planed to break each and every glass by throwing it at the target... good way to get out anger, I think. Our friend picked up the biggest glass item I had found (a thin, fragile vase). Our friend threw it unbelievably hard... I couldn't believe it! It literally bounced off the fence like it was a trampoline!! Didn't even scratch. Our friend tried it again... bounced! Finally we realized we needed to throw it against a rock or something. Found one! Our friend aimed, threw really hard, and... it bounced off the stupid rock!!!!! WTF? We thought... one more time. Our friend picked it up and threw it the fourth time... smashed! It was awesome!! We then proceeded to throw each and every glass object at the rock until they all were broken. Continually we had to go get the glass objects that wouldn't break... Michael's apparently has awesome glass, just so you know! Jason and our friend then went inside and I offered to clean up all the glass. Shortly after our friend had a rough phone call and then an even rougher night. It was a difficult day . . . I can't imagine what they were going through. I hope we helped in some way.

Jason, I love you for how you are in moments like this. When a friend of ours is in pain, you stop everything to be there for them. When I'm in pain... you hold me and do whatever you can to help me. All weekend you and I tried to help our friend and reassure them they had us. You also spend this weekend reminding me that you love me and want our marriage to be strong. You were thoughtful enough to reassure me about our marriage in the midst of watching our friend... thank you for always loving me, for being thoughtful and kind. If anything, this weekend taught me that any marriage... even the best ones can have unexpected things happen. Things you never thought were possible. I want you to know, I will always love you. I will always be here. You are the greatest man I've ever known and I never want anyone but you. I love that you are always asking me "Is there anything I can do better, love?" We made a promise this weekend to always talk to each other... if we're happy with one another or if we're upset. I promise to always confide in you. No matter how difficult it may be, I will communicate as I know you will. Thanks for being my most cherished friend and love. I am yours and only yours, for always.
